Silvia Mori was born and still lives in Firenze, Italy, where she teaches yoga and shiatsu. She enterd the path of yoga in 1978 at Rishikesh, India, but then she met her teacher, Sandra Sabatini, close to her hometown.
Through the practice of tai chi chuan and dao yin she got in touch with the Chinese heritage, specifically Traditional Medicine and Energy work. This approach deeply
affects her way of practicing and teaching yoga.
She studied with the group of students of Vanda Scaravelli for many years, and in 2004 published "Lo Yoga nelle Stagioni" ( Seasonal Yoga ) with Sandra Sabatini.
Silvia keeps studying and developing her own approach. Her personal search continues in the interaction of movement, breath and mindfulness.
